We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

1. Our Returns Window
We offer a 14-day return policy from the date you receive your order. This is in line with your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which gives you the right to cancel and return most online purchases within 14 days.
To be eligible for a return, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your item. Once notified, you have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

2. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return or refund, your item must meet the following conditions:
The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original condition
The product must be in its original packaging, including any seals, shrink wrap, or tamper-evident strips intact
You must provide proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt)
The return must be requested within 14 days of delivery

3. Non-Returnable Items
Due to hygiene and safety regulations, the following items cannot be returned once opened or used:
Opened hair color shampoos, gels, or any color products
Opened skincare products (face washes, creams, serums)
Opened hair care products (masks, oils, conditioners)
Products that have been used, partially used, or show signs of use
Items not in their original packaging
Gift cards and promotional vouchers
Sale or discounted items (unless faulty or damaged)
Please note: This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

4. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is:
Damaged during delivery
Faulty or defective
Different from what you ordered
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at yardlieuk@gmail.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We will arrange a full refund or replacement at no cost to you, including any return postage.

5. How to Request a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
Email us at yardlieuk@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return
Wait for our confirmation email with return instructions and the return address
Pack the item securely in its original packaging
Send it using a tracked postal service and keep your proof of postage
Items sent back without prior authorisation from us will not be accepted.

6. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent, return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit on their way back to us.
If the return is due to our error (wrong or damaged item), we will cover the full cost of return postage.

7. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email of our decision. If your return is approved:
A full refund will be issued to your original payment method
Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days of us receiving the return
Please allow a further 3–5 business days for your bank or card provider to post the refund to your account
Original delivery charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error
If your return is not approved (e.g. the product has been opened or used), we will notify you and, where possible, return the item to you.

8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product or shade, please return your eligible item for a refund and place a new order separately on yardlie.uk. This ensures the fastest turnaround for you.

9. Cancellations
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving any reason. To cancel, please email us at support@yardlie.uk as soon as possible with your order number.
If your order has already been dispatched, you will need to wait for it to arrive and then follow the standard returns process above.
